  • So, today has been kind of an emotional day for me, but life goes on and so do we. Jeremiah and I were shopping and when we left we left his toy somewhere in the store.  He was fussy, I was fussy so it was time to go.  Headed over to Wendy's to get some fries, and then we were going to go back to the store to see if we could find the toy.  It to FOREVER to get our fries.  I was starting to get frustrated.  Anyway, we eat some of our fries in the car then head back to the store to look for the toy.  I looked a few places, but was pretty sure it got left in the cart.  So we head back up to the front of the store without finding the toy.  We are walking past the register and hear "this must be some kids toy, it was here in the cart."  Imagine that.   God loves us so much that he can orchestrate us finding a needed toy on the day when we could really use a "hug" from Him.  That is what this was all about.  God showing ME how much He loves me.  Thank you Lord for the "small" things.

  • Fireproof

    I'm not sure if everyone received my first email about the Fireproof movie since I sent it to myself twice and never received it, but I wanted everyone to know it will be here in Redding this Friday, Sept 26th for opening day at Movies 10. It should be here through this weekend, but if it doesn't do well, Movies 10 will drop it after the weekend. The show times are 1:55pm, 4:45pm, 7:35pm & 10:25pm on Fri and those will be the show times on Sat as well. Cross Pointe church took a risk and guaranteed the 1000 tickets for opening weekend. The Pastor's wife emailed me and said she & her husband saw it at a conference in Chicago and thought the movie was worth taking the risk on and are hoping/praying God will bring more people in to buy tickets. They have 150 tickets for the 7:35pm showing on Fri sold, but that's all. So, the 7:35pm showing on Friday isn't available, but the others are. We just pre-purchased 6 tickets for Saturday night, so we were able to confirm it will be here that day since at first it was possibly only Friday that they would show it. The adult price for the first 2 showings are $5.25 ea and the price of adult tickets for the last 2 showings are $7.25ea.
